In autumn, our weather can quickly shift from summer-like warmth to, what we witness a couple of weeks ago, winter conditions.

This week, Mrs. Reimer has shared a beautiful book called Wild Child by Lynn Plourde. In this story, Mother Nature is trying to put her daughter (Autumn) to sleep but she keeps being met by the same replay

"Not for a while," said her wild child, who comes up with a variety of stalling tactics, including a song, a snack and, of course, a kiss goodnight.

Finally, Autumn goes to sleep as  the weather drifts  into winter. Hopefully, the Wild Child (Autumn) will be staying up late this year!

Please ask your child about the natural  changes that they see taking in our Vista Heights community.
