Room 6 is hosting the school assembly on Thursday February 26 at 1:00. All our Grade 1/2 students will be performing at this assembly. Family and friends are welcome to attend. 

Broad Bean Germination

Last week, students put a brood bean 
into a saturated towel and then gently placed it 
into a zip-loc plastic bag. The bag was taped to the wall for easy viewing of the growth.

The students observed that when a seed gets
air, warmth and water, the bean starts to change.
This plant is growing a toot and a green stem is
just starting to emerge. 

This bean is in the first stages of germination,
please discus with your child what they think will happen in the next few days.

Sonic is a free sports program for children ages 6-11 focusing on the benefits of physical activity and encourages positive social interactions in a team building setting.

Pizza Lunch
Pizza Lunch Form sent home yesterday. We will be having Pizza Day on Friday February 27. Please fill in the order, send $6 cash and return it to school by Tuesday Feb. 24th. NO LATE ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

On February 27 we will be having a pizza lunch. The pizza will ordered from Pizza 73. 

The cost of the lunch will be $ 6. Students can choose from four different kinds of pizza.

Please fill out the order form and return it to school as soon as possible.
