Today, our students were very fortunate to watch a presentation by members of the Earth Rangers. We learned about a number of projects that people had been working on to save the habitat of some endangered animals. It was very exciting to see the live animals such as the little armadillo from South America and the soaring peregine falcon.

Students have brought home a brochure which provides information on how students can sigh-up to become an 'Earth Ranger'. If they register they will receive an official card and have access to lots of information on the web site. As this is sponsored by some major Canadian corporations, there is no fee for this service.  To access their web page, please click on the icon above.

 Earth Ranger Megan demonstrated how the Serval African wild cat could jump 3 meters to catch a bird in mid flight.
