variety of vegetables to make their own pita.
Sudents will eat their pita with their classmates and their teachers
just before recess
This is a snack; it will not replace a lunch
We will harvest our tomatoes, lettuce, basil and beans from the classroom gardens
The following is a list of other food choices that will be offered:
Cucumbers
Lettuce
Tomatoes
Mustard
Mayo
Hummus
Cheese – shredded marble
If there ingredients you do NOT want you child to eat please contact the teacher
If you observe Ramadan we can put the pita in a bag for your child to bring home,
please let the teacher know
Lion's Club Visit!
We were honoured to have a visit from the wonderful Lions Club Northeast. They came to speak to us about Project Pride. Each student received a flag, a certificate and a letter from their flag.
