Little Green Thumbs 

Over the past four weeks, students have been observing their tiny seeds grow roots, stems and leaves. At this point, many of the basil, peppers and tiny Tim tomatoes are ready or close to being ready to transplant into the earth boxes. 

Today, some students were able to view an instructional video which described the procedures for setting up the earth boxes. 

Students added  special mixture of growing medium with dolomite and fertilizer in to the large earth boxes.

Kalem is looking for the roots that have grown through 

the peat pellet before transplanting it into the earth box.

After all plants have been transplanted, we had to pour the water into the water tube.

We will keep you posted on the growth of our garden.
